Plate Bangers Ambassador Program Terms & Conditions

By submitting an application or participating in the Plate Bangers Ambassador Program ("Program"), you ("Ambassador," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions set forth by Plate Bangers ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). Please read these terms carefully before joining.

1. Enrollment & Eligibility

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to participate.

  • Account Standing: Enrollment is subject to review and approval by Plate Bangers. We reserve the right to reject or revoke any application or active membership at our sole discretion, with or without cause.

  • Active Status: To remain an active Ambassador, you must generate a minimum of one (1) referral sale every sixty (60) days. Accounts without referral activity for over 60 days may be moved to inactive status, and custom discount codes may be deactivated.

2. Discount Codes, Commissions & Payouts

  • Follower Discount: Ambassadors are provided a unique discount code offering 10% OFF retail price to their audience at platebangers.com.

  • Commission Rates: Standard commission is set at 8% cash payout or 12% store credit on qualifying net sales (excluding shipping costs, taxes, and applied discounts).

  • Payout Schedule & Threshold:

    • Commissions are calculated on a calendar-month basis.

    • Payouts are issued monthly once your balance reaches the minimum payout threshold of $25.00 USD.

    • Balances under $25.00 USD will roll over to the next payout cycle.

  • Self-Referrals Prohibited: Ambassadors may not use their own public referral discount code or affiliate link on personal purchases to gain commission. Personal purchases made using your own public code will result in forfeiture of commission for that transaction. Personal gear discounts are provided separately via approved internal promotions.

3. Strict Search Engine & Paid Advertising Rules (No Brand Bidding)

Ambassadors are strictly prohibited from utilizing paid search engines or digital ad channels in a way that infringes upon Plate Bangers' internal search presence.

  • No Brand Keywords: You may not run paid advertisements (including Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube Ads, or TikTok Ads) targeting keywords containing "Plate Bangers", "PlateBangers", "Plate Bangers discount", "Plate Bangers coupon", or any variation or misspelling of our brand name.

  • No Direct Linking: You may not run paid ads that direct search traffic directly to platebangers.com using your referral link.

  • Penalty: Any sales generated through unauthorized paid advertisement or brand bidding will result in immediate termination from the Program, permanent deactivation of your discount code, and total forfeiture of accrued, unpaid commissions.

4. Prohibition on Coupon & Deal Site Submissions

  • No Coupon Site Leaks: Ambassadors are strictly forbidden from uploading, submitting, or sharing their unique discount code or referral links on third-party coupon/deal aggregator sites (including, but not limited to, RetailMeNot, Honey, CouponCabin, Slickdeals, HotOnlineDeals, or Dealspotr).

  • Automatic Monitoring: We actively monitor coupon databases. If your discount code is detected on a coupon aggregator website, your account will be immediately flagged, your discount code deleted, and all accrued, unpaid commissions permanently forfeited.

5. Content Standards & Brand Alignment

Plate Bangers represents high-intensity, uncompromised gym and lifting culture. While we encourage raw, authentic, and high-energy content creation, Ambassadors agree to adhere to the following community standards:

  • You agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or intentionally harmful to the reputation of Plate Bangers.

  • When promoting Plate Bangers, you must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship in compliance with applicable consumer protection guidelines (e.g., using disclosures like #PlateBangersAmbassador, #ad, or #sponsored in your captions or video overlays).

6. Relationship of Parties

Participation in the Program creates an independent contractor relationship. Nothing in this agreement shall be construed to create a partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative, or employment relationship between the Ambassador and Plate Bangers. You have no authority to make or accept any offers or representations on our behalf.

7. Program Modification & Termination

Plate Bangers reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any aspect of the Program—including commission rates, discount tiers, and these Terms & Conditions—at any time. Continued participation in the Program following any posted updates constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Either party may terminate participation in the Ambassador Program at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice to the other party.
